KURTZMAN CARSON CONSULTANTS (KCC) FOUNDERS NAMED ERNST & YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR®  2008 AWARD FINALISTS IN LOS ANGELES

EL SEGUNDO, May 22, 2008 - In recognition of their entrepreneurial vision and leadership, Eric Kurtzman and Jonathan Carson of Kurtzman Carson Consultants (KCC) were selected for the third consecutive year as finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2008 Award in the Greater Los Angeles region. Both former corporate-restructuring attorneys, Kurtzman and Carson founded KCC in 2001 to create a claims and noticing firm to support companies undergoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy with a higher-level of client service and technology.

"We are deeply honored to be recognized by Ernst & Young for the fulfillment of our entrepreneurial vision,” said Eric Kurtzman, KCC’s CEO and co-founder. “As we continue on our path of growth and expansion, this recognition inspires us in our quest to better serve our clients and employees, to explore new areas of growth, and to give back to our community through philanthropic efforts.”

"Every entrepreneur has a supporting team of people to help in bringing a business to life. Our growth and success as entrepreneurs would not have been possible without the support and teamwork of our talented management team and staff,” adds Jonathan Carson, KCC’s president and co-founder. “We thank all of our employees for making KCC what it is today and share with them the honor of being a finalist for this prestigious award.”
