RESTRUCTURING ATTORNEY MICHAEL J. FRISHBERG JOINS KURTZMAN CARSON CONSULTANTS AS SENIOR MANAGING CONSULTANT
EL SEGUNDO, MARCH 10, 2008 – Kurtzman Carson Consultants (KCC), a leading claims and noticing agent serving companies undergoing corporate restructuring, today announced that Michael Frishberg joined the company as a senior managing consultant. Frishberg brings extensive experience in corporate restructuring law as a former partner in the restructuring department at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the firm’s New York office.
In his new role at KCC, Frishberg will provide senior-level consulting services and will actively support KCC’s growth initiatives. As a member of the consulting team, Frishberg will contribute to key client engagements by applying KCC’s proprietary claims administration processes, procedures and technology applications.

In his former position at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Frishberg represented debtors, creditors’ committees and distressed investors in large, complex restructurings and bankruptcy cases, including Solutia, Inc., Allegiance Telecom, Inc., Teligent, Inc., Quality Stores, Inc., and Newcor, Inc. Admitted to practice law in New York and Illinois, Michael earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Arts degree in History.
