Restructuring Professional Robert Jordan Joins KCC Corporate Restructuring Services

New York, NY --KCC, a Computershare company and premier provider of administrative-support services for the legal and financial industries, announced today that Robert Jordan has joined the company as a Distressed Analyst & Senior Director of Business Development, Corporate Restructuring Services in its New York office. With more than 10 years of restructuring experience, Rob will actively support the company’s business development growth initiatives and further KCC’s strategic partnerships within the restructuring industry.

“Rob’s depth of experience in corporate restructuring and distressed investments make him a great addition to our restructuring team,” said Albert Kass, Executive Vice President of Corporate Restructuring Services at KCC. “His unique background allows KCC to continue to bring substantive professional-level expertise to the administration of today’s complex restructuring matters.

Before joining KCC, Rob was a Distressed Analyst/Senior Director of Business Development at a national claims administration firm. Prior to that, he was a Senior Director - Corporate Counsel at Third Avenue Management LLC where he advised investment professionals on distressed investments facing both in-and out-of-court restructurings. Preceding his role at Third Avenue, Rob was a Senior Associate in the Business Finance & Restructuring practice at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. During his tenure at the law firm, he represented debtors, creditors, funds and asset purchasers. His most notable representations included Washington Mutual Inc., Aleris Inc., Vertis Inc., Panolam Industries Inc. and US Shipping Inc.

Rob earned his JD with Honors from The George Washington University Law School while simultaneously completing an MA in International Economics and Middle Eastern Studies at The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He graduated with High Honors with a triple major from Rutgers University. He is licensed to practice law in New York and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association and the American Bar Association.
