NEW YORK, NY, September 27, 2010 – KCC, a Computershare company and a leading claims and noticing agent, today announced that Jennifer Whitney joined the company as a senior consultant in its New York office. In her new role, Whitney contributes her experience in proxy solicitation and corporate governance to KCC’s public-securities services which help clients to administer Chapter 11 cases involving public-securities holders.

KCC’s public-securities team brings more than 25 years of experience in domestic and international corporate restructurings and transactions. Led by industry experts David M. Sharp and David Hartie, the group advises and assists professionals on the mechanics of securities transactions in both domestic and international markets. KCC clients that have enlisted the team’s expertise include Six Flags, Idearc, Lear, Cooper-Standard, Citadel Broadcasting and Magna Entertainment.
Before joining KCC, Jennifer was a consultant at Laurel Hill Advisory Group where she managed complex proxy solicitation campaigns and advised clients on corporate governance issues. Jennifer has managed solicitation campaigns for high-profile corporations in the financial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and utilities industries. Prior to joining Laurel Hill Advisory Group, she was a member of the proxy solicitation and corporate governance group at Georgeson Inc.
