Toronto – Computershare announced today that it has acquired RicePoint Administration Inc. Founded in 2001, RicePoint Administration Inc. is the leading expert in services related to legal settlements in Canada. RicePoint has served as the claims administrator on some of the largest and most complex class action settlements in Canadian history, including those related to securities, price fixing, medical, consumer and employment matters. Combined with Computershare’s U.S. settlement administration company, KCC, the acquisition of RicePoint advances Computershare’s position as an international leader in legal settlement administration.
