Travis provides senior-level consulting services to KCC’s most active corporate restructuring engagements. He offers his substantive expertise to the overall Chapter 11 process and offers ways to streamline corporate restructuring proceedings through KCC’s proprietary claims and noticing services as well as its technology offerings. In addition, Travis oversees the claims administration process for several corporate restructuring clients including, Avado Brands, Friedman’s Inc., HomeBanc Mortgage Corp., Levitz Home Furnishings Inc., Performance Transportation Services and Sharper Image.

Prior to joining KCC, Travis represented Chapter 11 debtors as a member of the Bankruptcy Group at Ashby & Geddes in the firm’s Delaware office. He began his professional career as an intern for both the Honorable Stephen D. Gerling, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of New York and the Honorable Cecelia G. Morris, Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Travis earned his Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from the University of Arizona.
