.net Developer

Overview
This position entails developing smart client and web application systems using ASP.Net, VB.Net and MS Access with a MS SQL Server back-end.

Responsibilities

• Re-spec the current system to meet growing demands from software applications
• Develop .NET applications on a web environment
• Create custom tools to ease operations and development
• Create technical specs for current system
• Maintain technical specs for the new systems in development
• Implement solutions using various programming languages (VB .Net, ASP .Net, SQL, T-SQL, etc.)

Position Requirements and Skills

• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong VB.Net and/or C# experience with web applications
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, user defined functions, and database design preferred
• Familiarity with the development life cycle methodology including specification, documentation and testing, and scheduling
• Able to grasp business concepts and apply to software development
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Experience with Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, MS Access are a plus
