HISTORY
As corporate-restructuring attorneys, Eric Kurtzman and Jonathan Carson were frustrated by the inefficiencies inherent in the administration of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.  The pair envisioned a simpler, more efficient approach to manage the growing administrative burdens of corporate restructuring and other strategic business transactions.  With deep industry knowledge, Eric and Jonathan pioneered a technology platform and services methodology to automate a traditionally manual, paper-laden and time-consuming process.  It was their shared vision, ability to identify a niche market opportunity and an entreprenurial spirit that led to the creation of KCC.

From drawing the technology architecture schematic on a notepad in 2001 to becoming the #1 provider of claims and noticing services to the corporate restructuring market to being named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and the company’s acquisition by Computershare, KCC has achieved incredible milestones throughout the years.
